The USDA does not define temperature for "raw honey", so anyone can call their honey "raw". Most grocery store honey in liquid form has been heated and filtered, but is still often labeled "raw" and/or "unfiltered".
Honey naturally crystallizes, so we heat as little as possible to get it back to liquid form to bottle and sell. This temperature doesn't harm the honey.
WE DO NOT FILTER
OUR HONEY
Our honey is never filtered. It's the same liquid honey from the bee box to the bottle. This may result in a few wax particles or bee parts here and there, but these things won't hurt the honey!
WE ONLY SELL WHAT
WE PRODUCE
Due to the amount of fraud in the honey market from imported honey, we refrain from buying honey from unknown sources. We bottle what we produce here in Southeast Texas.
WE DON'T CONSIDER OUR LIQUID HONEY RAW
Since we believe "raw" means unheated, we choose not to use the term on our liquid honey. However, our honey still contains all the beneficial things that come from natural honey.
WHAT IS REAL RAW HONEY?
Our "Real Raw Honey" is a true NO HEAT APPLIED local honey from our bees. Instead of storing this honey in bulk barrels, we have gone directly to the jar after harvest. This honey is naturally crystallized, making a great natural spread.
