FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
_

What do I do when my honey crystallizes?

No need to worry, this assures the natural composure of your honey. Simply place your honey in a container with warm water, place it in the sun on a hot day, or follow the instructions on the back of the label! If you have further questions about crystallized honey, contact sales@moorehoney.com.

Is your honey raw?

The USDA doesn't define "RAW honey", however it generally means honey that has not been heated or filtered. Most honey in liquid form has been heated at some point, so by general definition most honey is not raw (with the exception of being bottled and consumed straight from the hive). Honey will crystallize over time and needs heat to be turned back to a liquid form.

Is your honey local?

Maybe, it depends on where you live and what you consider to be local. All of our honey production is done local to Southeast Texas, so if you live in our region, our honey is local!

Where are your bees located?

We have over 40 Southeast Texas locations in 5 counties from Houston to Beaumont, where we produce honey, and keep our bees for the majority of the year. A few months out of the year we take our bees to pollinate crops, but we don't harvest honey from these trips.
